Overview
Helping the PR & Events team prepare for events both for Retailers as well as the media and general public. Support in press releases as well as media monitoring. Internal communications include preparing presentations for the quarterly town hall as well as all HME-UK internal emails. Attending onsite events to help support. Raising Purchase orders and uddating all budget trackers.
Skills
Writing skills, teamwork, time management, team leader skills. Microsoft skills e.g., excel and teams forms. Understanding systems such as finance or media monitoring.
Responsibilities
Yes. I was responsible for managing the finance tracker for the PR & Event department. During events i was given the responsibility of managing the Brand Ambassadors and ensuring the were ok and given the right support.
Support & Guidance
I was given support for the whole PR & events team as well as the wider Communcations team throughout the year. Training for the beginning of the placement could have been more extensive as it is only the previous undergraduate teaching you.
