Overview
Updating and maintaining core department reports. Conducting and supporting large pricing reviews. Liaising with various stakeholders across the business.
Skills
Technical skills: Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft applications Soft skills: Communication, planning/organisation, intuitiveness
Responsibilities
I was given the responsibility to shift the core reports used for monitoring departmental performance to a new reporting classification. I was also responsible for pushing and developing the teams and departments reporting through implementing more Power BI usage. I was responsible for running the Borderline Write off Avoidance Program which involved liaising with franchise partners.
Support & Guidance
I received continual support throughout my placement through regular meetings with my line manager and a general supportive attitude from my team.
Culture
In HUK the atmosphere feels a little more relaxed which creates a positive and supportive atmosphere. The overall company culture encourages personal development and provides associates with lots of opportunities.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement and found it very valuable. I feel I have developed a variety of skills and created solid connections. Everything I have learnt throughout the placement will be incredibly valuable for my future career.
