Overview
My role entailed the set-up of Safety Recall campaigns for Motorcycle and Automobile, as well as issuance of these campaigns into the European Market. The role also includes but is not limited to essential reporting and analysis, improvement of campaign performance by strategizing and implementing proactive projects. Presentation of findings to senior management and other Honda branches across the globe.
Skills
Development of time management skills when prioritizing day to day tasks. Better understanding of excel formulae applicable to multiple areas of work.
Responsibilities
Yes - management of campaigns, as well as day to day tasks. Sometimes helping other team members with work on top of my own work. Working to tight deadlines sometimes without support on tasks.
Support & Guidance
I received support and guidance form team members and managers on various tasks throughout my placement. Multiple occasions arrived where little support was provided, even when asked for. There were also times where the expectation was to support other team members on their tasks, whilst carrying out my own tasks
Culture
The team I joined had a friendly atmosphere, created especially by Adam Blackman, who joined Honda who started on the same day as me.
Your Impressions
Whilst I was very much looking forward to my placement opportunity, I perhaps did not enjoy my experience as much as I had hoped to. However there were some aspects I thoroughly enjoyed, such as the opportunity to volunteer as a brand ambassador at the Autumn and Six nations.

Network smartly - I managed to meet and establish connections with Honda associates by introducing myself and conversing with colleagues from different areas within the business.
