Overview
Analyse and evaluate products and suppliers to determine the most cost-efficient options, focusing on maximising savings while maintaining quality and value – use benchmarking and tendering. BirchStreet - eProcurement & purchasing system:Manage new product uploads from suppliers. Create seasonal order guides for our managed estates stand-alone Taste Republic, OXBO etc. Pull valuable data – Annual/Monthly purchase volumes of products (Used to calculate savings for benchmarks) Manage external communications to hotels Create and distribute a bi-weekly newsletter to hotels detailing supplier information such as price changes & discontinued products etc. Create and distribute various other stand-alone communications throughout the week upon Category Management’s request. Manage customer contacts on salesforce – new addictions/removals.
Skills
Better Software skills: become comfortable using Excel and valuable formulas (e.g. Xlookup, Pivot Tables) Learnt how to effectively communicate internally and externally in a corporate environment and work collaboratively in a team and with customers Time Management & Prioritisation
