During the insight programme we connected with current apprentices and found about what they do and what a day looks like for them , we also asked how they got in to the insurance industry and what there role is within WTW. We also had a presentation on how to stand out within apprenticeship applications and what employers look for within them . We also did many activities during the 2 days which helped us to get to know people better

I have learnt how to network with people this can be done thorough likedIN helping me to make new connections . I have also learnt the company鈥檚 insights and how the company鈥檚 work such as values and structures. Another skill that I already had but it help to develop was presentation as we shared and presented what we did on day one to the group , allowing me to develop current skills and improve them.

I knew that I wanted to do something within finance or insurance but wasn鈥檛 to sure what exactly , but after the WTW insight programme I know what I would like to do within the insurance industry as I have always been interested in aviation and now understand all the roles that WTW have within aviation . In which I would not know about if I didn鈥檛 attend the step up programme at WTW

The company鈥檚 culture and atmosphere seemed really positive and when I spoke to current apprentices at WTW they all spoke very highly of the company and said that everyone try鈥檚 to help others and it has a really positive atmosphere as people were working but there is also that opportunity for the social side and they鈥檙e is room for people to change sectors within the business if they wanted to.

I thought that the insight programme was really good as I learnt lots of valuable information during it . I thought it was enjoyable as I got to meet new people and I also knew some people there from before
