Overview
In the first few weeks there is online training with other interns in the UK, learning about WTW and its values as well as technical training on how to perform calculations and use specific software. I am delegated client work weekly and am expected to complete this to a deadline but can ask questions if I am unsure on anything. End of internship project and presentation.
Skills
I have learnt many new technical skills from performing calculations on excel, professional writing skills when drafting deliverables to clients.
Responsibilities
Yes, when i was delegated client work I had a responsibility of completing it on time in order for the chain of work to be done to not be delayed.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support. Anyone was always happy to help with my questions if I wasn't sure on anything and the training felt very personalised as if anyone didn't understand, help was given.
Culture
The company atmosphere is very friendly and feels like a good community to be apart of.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship, I especially enjoyed the opportunity to go to the main office in Reigate and meet and network with all of the other retirement interns.
