Overview
On the first day we did ice-breakers games which found common hobbies, names and aspirations from the other participants. We then went through the application process for the apprenticeships at the company and learnt what they look at in a good candidate. The final session was a networking with some of the current apprentices which we got to ask them various questions including why they applied for the job or what they do on a day-to-day basis. This was a great opportunity to find out useful information from people that were in our place a few years ago. The next day consisted of another session of icebreakers where we improvised communicating without speaking to get to a goal. Then we went through what makes a CV useful to employers and how to use linkedIN to communicate with people using posts that utilise the algorithms to spread to companies. The final session was networking where they brought in more current apprentices and we got to speak informally with them and then a final thank you from the company.
