Overview
I work in a placement team and support their work in various ways. Currently I am placed within Controls team and perform a range of tasks which support the work of my team members.
Skills
I have learnt a lot of new skills and increased my knowledge of technology significantly. I built on skills I had gained from university like researching and have learned to trust in my own abilities.
Responsibilities
I have been given some tasks in my placement which have had an impact within the bank.
Support & Guidance
I feel able to ask my line manager any questions I require and they are very supportive. I also have received support from the rest of the team who have helped in my transition into bank-working.
Culture
Natwest has an amazing culture - it is what makes it stand out as a brilliant place to work. People are friendly, inclusive and want to see each other do well.
Your Impressions
Very much. I have gained a lot from this experience.
Yes
Be yourself in the interview stage. Natwest values the individual and what they can offer, so be you! Don't try to be someone you are not. Be confident.
