Overview
I recently took part in WTW鈥檚 two-day virtual Insight Day and found it extremely insightful. The sessions introduced practical problem-solving tools like root cause analysis and the Why Therefore technique, which are highly relevant for roles in risk management and strategic decision-making. Day two focused on client excellence, where I developed my understanding of empathetic communication, personal branding, and the STAR method for interviews鈥攁ll crucial for client-facing roles in finance and VC.
Skills
As a Management with Finance 西瓜视频, I especially appreciated the exposure to how analytical and behavioural skills are applied in HR Consulting, which deepened my interest in areas like risk insurance and people strategy. A big thank you to the WTW Early Careers Team for an engaging and well-organised event. The interactive sessions and supportive environment made it easy to learn and connect.
Business Insight
We also explored how diverse thinking styles strengthen teams and how to prioritise solutions based on impact vs effort鈥攕kills that are valuable in asset management and consulting environments.
