Overview
For the first day, we performed problem solving exercises and significant teamwork projects. We were also introduced to the early careers team and other WTW members such as the client communications team. We also finished with a fun Jeopardy ice breaker. For the second day, we learned more about asking interview questions using i.e. the STAR method and the vast lines of business at WTW.
Skills
I developed my ability using the STAR method to answer competency based questions. Additionally, working in teams and structuring our projects to be presented to all the participant panel, was a major skill I enjoyably developed.
Business Insight
I was given a plethora of lines of businss talks within WTW and they were very insightful. I asked questions, general and specific, about each so I understood more formally what I could in a line of business. However, sometimes the talks had a lot of technical language so I did struggle to understand parts. However, overall it was a really informative experience.
Culture
The company was extremely friendly and one of the early careers leaders said a line I really loved, 鈥淣o question is a stupid question鈥.
Your Impressions
I loved all the opportunities but I especially enjoyed a particular team building exercise. We had to exercise our active and empathetic learning in a bartender and customer role play. Therefore, I was able to demonstrate and receive adequate feedback from peers for the learning exercise.
