    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Varied role, good opportunities for development. First 3 months were settling in, getting to know the culture, networking. First 6 months was getting to know the role and whats expected of you. 9-12 months was about branching out to other sectors/ clusters and gaining opportunities from them as well as your task manager.

  • Developed creativity, communication and technological skills (operating GenAI assistants, Microsoft Office proficiency, client tender submission portals)

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Responsibility grew as I settled into my role. After the 6 month mark was where I started to work on client-facing projects and felt more corporate responsibility as a result.

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • Friendly culture, my task manager was extremely busy (which sometimes meant support lacked). I still managed to learn from others around me, and other partners/associates in the business.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Hard-working but friendly. Good balance of work/life at an intern/graduate level, but (from what I observed in upper management) not so much evidence of this in senior positions.

  • Don't be afraid to be yourself, and speak with others- on the group interview especially. Stand out, be unique, and ask for feedback (even if scary). That way, you will know what to improve.
