Overview
My role is storage sales within IBM, it involves catching up with account managers at IBM every day to work on sales strategy and also learning about the IBM products myself to be able to present.
Skills
I learned very important social skills to be able to interact with a wide range of people at IBM across many ages; I also got to practice my presentation skills.
Responsibilities
The amount of responsibility grows as the internship progresses. But there was definitely periods when I felt like I didn't have a lot to do in this job - especially because my team was working from home a lot.
Support & Guidance
I was given a lot of support and guidance. Everyone on the team was very nice and willing to help.
Culture
IBM has a very inclusive culture where I felt really respected and encouraged to voice out my opinions and make new friends.
