Overview
Worked on a global wealth and asset management audit, supporting multi-entity testing, financial reviews, and control assessment. I collaborated with client teams on site to gather documents and resolve queries. Worked on workbook reviews, used canvas to mange workflows and completed high priority tasks. gained exposure to financial statements and regulatory frameworks while using excel and datasnipper for data validation and reconciliation.
Skills
I have developed my excel skills and knowledge. and also my time management, proactivity and adaptability. Also i have learnt client interactions, auditing methodology, better financial analysis and improved upon my collaboration ans team work.
Responsibilities
I was given the perfect amount of responsibility, I was given the wheel in alot of scenarios and was allowed to make my own decisions and this massivley boosted my confidence throughout and built a very strong connection with my team as they believed in me and my ability to do the work and from this i was able to excel very quickly.
Support & Guidance
I was very supported by my team and my counsellor throughout my internship. They always made it easy for me to come to them with enquiries and thoughts. And always supported me when I felt stuck at any point during my internship.
Culture
It was very shocking how nice and friendly and supportive everyone is. It鈥檚 a lovely environment to work in.

Yes
Be outgoing and speak to people, there is nothing to be afraid of everyone from associate to partner is very down to earth and are very easy going. Once you open up you will be able to excel even more in your work!
