Overview
Have meetings, talk to colleagues, researching, writing, presenting, work shadowing, learning
Skills
Yes developed presenting skills, communication skills, researching skills, independence, resilience, confidence, as well as plenty of academic/technical knowledge gained from degree/personal interest
Responsibilities
Yes, I was responsible for a project and worked closely with professionals within the industry, however I had the most responsibility for this project and its output was a reflection of my ability - so yes I feel I had plenty of responsibility as well as admin responsibilities.
Support & Guidance
Plenty, was constantly supported and guided, didn't feel like any of my questions were poorly received, always felt like I could genuinely turn to anyone even a stranger to ask for help and I'd get it.
Culture
Amazing, better than I ever thought it would be, I felt so welcomed, and despite being an intern I didn't feel like I had imposter syndrome. I felt like I fitted extremely well and as if I had worked there for years.
Your Impressions
I loved every moment. I can't believe it's over already. I 100% want to come back I feel this is the perfect place to start my career, in every aspect from exposure, progression, support, the people, everything.
Yes
Try your absolute best, you will NOT regret it. I assure anyone applying that you will get more out of it than you think. I was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, I'm just blown away.
