Overview
Basic audit + admin tasks on excel, sitting in on team meetings and doing online learning. I would find myself unassigned to any tasks at some points, but there is no shortage of online learnings to do.
Skills
My excel skills have definitely improved and I have gained a basic insight into what audit looks like.
Responsibilities
I was fully responsible for the tasks assigned to me. There was always help should I have questions but the ultimate responsibility to ask them and complete the task correctly was mine, which was good.
Support & Guidance
There are always people to talk to/ ask questions if you need support
Culture
Nice culture and atmosphere. Expect your colleagues to work longer hours than 9-5 but interns are definitely not expected to.
Your Impressions
A good taster into audit even if I'm not certain it's what I personally want to do. Not stressful and a good experience.
Yes
In any group interviews be vocal, friendly and smile. Try to socialise with the other interns that are in your office
