Overview
As an associate 1, there are very high levels of on the job learning. Seniors will often guide and coach on workbooks and papers typically completed on Excel utilising large quantities of data as well as key forms and procedures completed on company wide applications key to the audit. Team and client meetings can be quite frequent particularly through buys seasons and provide basis for expanding your network while on the job.
Skills
Time management, communication, teamwork, Excel skills and organisation are key skills developed on the job.
Responsibilities
This would often be dependent on your team's size or overall workload on the team but yes there were occasions where key responsibilities and growth opportunities were given.
Support & Guidance
Many teams to refer to with queries regarding the placement and a huge number of kind and caring seniors always happy to give advice and help on both technical and non-technical queries.
Culture
Full of unique and kind individuals. Busy seasons can be very challenging with long days however teams are very aware of this and are happy to support/work around any pre-existing or personal commitments.
