Overview
Supporting build of vehicles, identifying and solving engineering issues. Analysis and application of technical engineering requirements to validate and ensure robust design. Communicating and engaging in technical discussions, reviewing and understanding future design and material developments. Engaging in rapid prototype development and testing to validate concepts and ideas.
Skills
Managing multiple projects simultaneously has massively improve my organisational skills. Opportunities to engaging in technical discussions has resulted in improvements to my confidence. Many opportunities to apply and develop engineering skills from university.
Responsibilities
Responsibility was steadily increased over the course of the placement at a rate that ensured I felt comfortable and supported within my team. By the end of the placement, I was confidently working on real engineering tasks.
Support & Guidance
Plenty of support from my personal team along side plenty of support meetings from the early careers team and my personal buddy. This ensured I always had someone to talk to if I needed support.
Culture
Great company atmosphere, very supporting, open and honest allowed me to feel really integrated into my team.
