    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Due to number of new programmes the team handles at once, the team is filled with members that all have different expertise and skillsets to make sure each programme can be delivered on time. The various roles within the team include, Forward Programme Planner, Design and PE Interface TS, Business Planner, Project Engineer. My role in the team so far has varied. I have worked closely with the Forward Programme Planner and the Project Engineer and developed important information packs that are required upon handing over programmes. I am also expected to organise and support events such as BPA and WCPA with other colleagues outside of my team and inform them of engineering changes planned. As of the moment, I have been handed the responsibility of working on the technical aspect of Stamping Engineering. This involves a lot of FEA and feasibility work particularly assisting with the Design and PE Interface Technical Specialists, through whom I have been trained and am now in the process of bridging to complete a placement with the Feasibility and Process engineering team.
