Rectifying electrical issues related to prototype battery packs
Skills
Better electrical diagnosis skills, deeper understanding of power electronics and HV architecture of EVs and how they worked
Responsibilities
Yep absolutely, i was trusted with a large amount of responsibility with respect to the prototype build
Support & Guidance
Initially there was some training that was semi relevant to what i am doing now however sometimes it felt slightly lacking for the more complex aspects of the job
Culture
Fantastic to work for, very welcoming and has a great atmosphere. You would also be allowed to try different aspects of the general area you were hired in and switch teams if you desired
Your Impressions
Fantastic opportunity to work in the automotive sector. The work was sometimes mildly tedious but overall i am happy with the experiene
Yes
Being passionate in the automotive sector makes your job infinitely easier. My biggest recommendation is to try to get to know anyone and everyone in and around your team as quick as possible and especially try to get to know the other ugrads.
