Overview
I completed numerous placements during my time at JLR, and so each role within this was different. Generally, however, I was involved with the testing, validation and analysis of software on a major ECU in the vehicle network. This involved putting vehicles through various functional testing scenarios and analysing the response of signals in the vehicle.
Skills
My existing skill set has been massively improved upon by the time I have spent at JLR. Teamwork, communication, confidence, and a whole host of other skills. Working in a professional environment for a year also teaches you soft skills and discipline which will carry over to many other aspects of life.
Responsibilities
Yes, almost from day 1. You will have real responsibility and jobs on your placement at JLR. I was given tasks that would contribute , sometimes quite heavily, to ongoing projects and work.
Support & Guidance
As much as I needed. There are various systems and structures in place during the placement year to support 西瓜视频s.
Culture
Very friendly, very helpful. Inspires confidence in you to not be afraid to make mistakes, get stuck in , and ask questions.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it very much. I was very lucky to have been placed in and gone on placements to some outstanding teams, and have made some incredible memories that I will carry for the rest of my life.
Yes
Just go for it. Youll have a great time, and there is a place at JLR for everyone, with every skillset.
