Overview
Worked in "Platform Integration" - testing software at a system level on vehicles, main point of contact in finding and solving issues at pilot production build, reporting out issues enabling engineers to fix these issues.

Responsibilities
For the first 2 thirds of the placement, I was often looking for work to do, not well utilised however towards the end of my placement I managed to get allocated to a project in my team and had a large amount of responsibility.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support was available from the early careers team throughout the placement, as well as my team
Culture
The culture within the team and area I worked in was very positive, was an enjoyable place to work. Have also heard from others this atmosphere is present around the majority of the business.
Your Impressions
While it was a slow start, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at JLR and it has helped develop my skills greatly.
Yes
Prepare interview questions prior to the assessment centre, don't be too nervous about the assessment centre as it's a very welcoming environment.
