    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I worked as a product engineer withing the cabin and safety team. I worked as a cross commdity engineer. This means i would help with tasks that any other team needed help with. Such as requirements and standards, CAD design, physical testing

  • CAD skill, presentation skills, communication skills Analysis skills, product development, Requirement syntax, Time management, adaptablity. All od these skills were developed over my day to day work and through my mentors and team.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given lots of responsiblites from my home team. Such as lead on certian projects that required me to organise and run meetings as well as becoming a specialist in certian areas for my team to ask questions and have help. I was also able to gain responsiblity outside of my team by joining our driven team which is like formula 西瓜视频. as well as becoming an undergrad rep to help create a better undergrad program.

  • Constant support and guidance through out my placement through weekly meetings with my manager, constant feed back form my team and meeting with a buddy who is a current graduate.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The culture is unlike anything ive ever experiance there is a large push for a very accepting and comfortable work place. As a placement studnet i was still given options for hybrid working. there as also net works for all different types of people to find and network with each other. they also put on events to share and increase peoples knowage and awareness

  • I have extrealmly enjoyed my placement with countless oppertunites to develop and grow. They also had multiple events giving tours and ride and drives to get closer to the history, culture and feeling of our products

  • Be yourself JLR is hiring the people not your skill. make sure to answer honestly as it will ensure you fit when you arrive at JLR. Also research into the company see what they are working on and understand who they are before you apply.
