    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I worked as a planner in the Unilever Supply Chain. In this role, I was responsible for a range of operational and analytical tasks. On a day-to-day basis, I ran weekly and monthly performance reports to support team insights and decision-making. I coordinated the storage and transportation of stock using Excel and stock management systems. Additionally, I created design briefs to support customer-specific packaging requirements.

  • While on placement, my ability to communicate with my team members, to constructively collaborate with others, to manage my time, and to pick up small details has massively improved. In addition, I have been added new skills to my arsenal, such as manipulating software programs like SAP and Excel.
