Overview
I work in a CiiC team which is a global team who provides technology solutions internally to the business. I work on promoting the CiiC through teaching others about the tech tools, posting case studies, and arranging awareness days. I also manage the licensing for the tools and create usage reports and indivudal QBR report for one of our vendors. Other things I have done in my role is build a PBI dashboard for an AI camera system and help with project work on an internal tool POC.
Skills
I have learnt how to use generative AI with firefly, learnt to built PBI dashboards and more about project management in general. I feel like ive developed skills in business acuimen and commercial awareness.
Responsibilities
I was given quite a bit of resonsibility with management overall in my role and even free to look out for other projects I was interested in so most definitely
Support & Guidance
I had a contact manager I can talk to about my job every month and my line manager was so supportive, she would always be understanding and help me out with anything i needed
Culture
Company culture is very positive, people are friendly and willing to have networking calls with you. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it a lot, made a lot of connections and gained great experience. I never felt really bored at work which is something I was worried about.
Yes
If your manager isn't giving you work you need to look for your own work and be proactive otherwise you will be stuck doing nothing. Be willing to learn and set up calls to go more indepth on things if you don't understand them.
