Overview
As a Quality Engineer in the Manufacturing division at Jaguar Land Rover, you are responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality engine components and assemblies. You play a critical role in monitoring production processes, identifying quality risks, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards of manufacturing excellence. Your work focuses on supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term improvements through root cause analysis, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. You also contribute to new model introductions, ensuring that quality requirements are integrated from launch through to full production.
Skills
Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa). Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA). Control Plan development and implementation. Statistical Process Control (SPC). Layered Process Audits (LPA). Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards. Engine assembly and powertrain system understanding. Quality documentation and reporting.
