Overview
Ensuring that from order submission to order processing and warehouse picking, pallet collection frok warehouses and delivery to customers, everything is running smoothly, resolving issues that are raised by customers, logistics network and warehouses. Lots of work with E-mails, microsoft teams as well as Unilever internal systems.
Skills
Improved communication skills - E-mails, Microsoft teams and in person meetings. Improving on my excel skills and learning how to efficiently use all of the Unilever internal systems that are needed in my job role. I have also worked to improve processes in my lead area, which has given me confidence and improved my leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
I was responsible for an internal ordering process that I was the 'lead' for, and I was expected to undertake all of my job responsibilities by myself, with an amazing support network of co-workers, managers and other placement 西瓜视频s if I needed any help.
Support & Guidance
I recieved lots of support and guidance through my placement, my handover when I joined was great, and throughout the role I have learnt so much from my co-workers. There are great systems in place for IT help, as well as documents for every issue I encountered throughout my 12 month placement.
Culture
The company culture at Unilever is amazing. Everyone is so supportive, happy to help and kind. Every single person I have met / spoken to throughout my placement has been eager to help. The company offers a subsidised staff shop in all offices, as well as free ice cream in office - which is a nice bonus.
Your Impressions
I have absolutely loved my time at Unilever. I am so happy that I found this placement - they have been helpful, fun, engaging, easy to work for and most importantly, the work / life balance is 10/10 here. They care about your mental health - making sure we aren't working too late, ensuring that we are able to enjoy our time outside of work.
Yes
Go for it - Unilever is one of the best placements in the country, the placement team are amazing, it was so simple and easy to go through the application process - they emailed me back when I had any questions and even paired me with someone who was in the 23/24 cohort, so I could speak to someone already on the scheme.
