Overview
This role is part of the R&D team for all of Unilever鈥檚 worldwide deodorant brands. The responsibilities include designing research questions, performing data analysis on consumer data, creating consumer insight dashboards and reports, and presenting these insights to internal teams through debriefs and presentations. You can also support with data capability; to help improve the systems we use to store and analyse data.
Skills
I have become more digitally capable and curious through shadowing colleagues and mentoring, which has helped me develop digital capabilities within my team and expand my role. I have also developed my presentation and communication skills throughout this placement, by actively searching for feedback and being proactive.
Responsibilities
I have been given the opportunity to manage and lead high quality research projects independently, responsible for having them completed by tight deadlines and ensuring the team is co-ordinated. I also supported with recruitment of the new placement 西瓜视频 and have the responsibility of training them in the future.
Support & Guidance
When I first joined, the team were enthusiastic about training me and helped me at every hurdle, and have been a great support throughout . My manager has always been there for guidance and has offered me a lot of constructive feedback, which has really helped me get the most of out my time here. Everybody is super helpful and there is a culture for success.
Culture
The culture is inclusive and positive, everybody wants to help and no question is too stupid. The team encourages ideas and mistakes, giving you confidence to speak freely about your ideas without judgement, which helps you unlock relationships, trust, and performance. More generally, they encourage a good work/life balance and they really seem to care about you.
Your Impressions
I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement and is definitely a company I would like to work for in the future. There is real responsibility and support from the get go, with clear goals and objectives to work towards. There are opportunities to learn about other departments, and opportunities to be creative, which I have found energising and insightful.
