Overview
The insight was two days long (one virtual and one in-person). I received many talks from current EY employees with subsequent Q&A sessions. There were opportunities to network with current employees and with fellow 西瓜视频s. I received advice on interviews and assessment centres, with a mock assessment centre towards the end of the event.
Skills
I have learnt many useful skills: - Networking skills - Assessment centre skills: Through the very useful mock assessment centre exercise - Interviewing skills: By hearing advice from employees who鈥檝e conducted interviews and by practicing interview questions with fellow 西瓜视频s. - Knowledge of current changes and innovations in consulting
Business Insight
It was very enjoyable and informative. I was very interested to hear about the wide range of sectors EY operates in and I was also very excited to learn about the many employee development opportunities on offer.
Culture
The atmosphere and culture was very welcoming. All the employees were very nice and pleasant to speak with. I also felt completely comfortable to ask the employees any questions about EY due to how nice they were.
Your Impressions
I deeply enjoyed the insight. The Q&A sessions were extremely informative and the networking sessions were very enjoyable as everyone there was so welcoming. The sessions providing tips for assessment centres and interviews were also very useful and provided me with valuable skills.

Research the company and role before the assessment. Use online resources to practice numerical and psychometric tests. Make sure to clearly state your motivations to join EY and for your specific role.
