Overview
First day was virtual which involved listening to different people working for EY. These where people from different departments and levels and they gave insights into their journey from education to the company and career. There were plenty of opportunities to ask questions directly as well about anything. The second day was in office which was similar but also included group activities and networking with people.
Skills
I have learned new skills in communication and talking / connecting with both 西瓜视频s and individuals working for EY. I was also taught how to thrive interviews by receiving tips on giving the best impression and best answers. Participating in the group activity also helped us develop skills into how we should perform and stand out in these events.
Business Insight
It was very good. As mentioned previously, people from different roles and pathways spoke to us of their experiences and had also allowed us to ask questions we had as well about the roles, departments and company.
Culture
It was very open and friendly. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and ensured we were comfortable. Asking questions was encouraged as well and they had emphasised that there was no such thing as a silly question.
