Overview
Fantastic insight opportunity. Incredibly valuable to learn about work at EY from employees, learning about service lines and receiving practice experience for Assessment Centres for the internships and grad jobs
Skills
Interview technique such as what questions to ask interviewers, advice for how to contribute to group interviews, how to network, and how to build your personal brand online as someone looking for work
Business Insight
The placement was largely focused on preparation for life in EY in general, with a section specifically focused on Service lines insight from an employee. Gave a good general insight into work life, but did come in expecting more insight/engagement on the specific service line I applied to
Culture
Company culture seemed wonderful, with employees being friendly and enthusiastic. The company also offered a lot of opportunities for flexibility and progression for positions, and many perks that made it an appealing workplace such as holiday leave and many secondment opportunities
Your Impressions
Had a very enjoyable experience, everyone involved from employees to fellow applicants made for a very comfortable environment. The content was engaging, though the talks slightly outweighed the interactive experiences
Yes
Research the company and be enthusiastic to learn about the position you鈥檙e applying to
