Overview
The day was full of back to back experiences which were filled with key information, employee career journeys and top tips for the EY applications process.
Skills
The Discover EY experience helped me to further develop my teamworking skills. The activities were well thought out and made it easy to be inclusive and get a taste of what their assessment centres would look like.
Business Insight
It is a very informative experience. The information made available is an eye opener and even if you don't end up working in EY helps you to learn and image what a career in the accounting field would look like and what different fields are generally involved.
Culture
The company culture feels as they describe. It doesn't feel like a PR move and the atmosphere feels genuine and inviting.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the insight alot and it has peaked my interest in EY further.
Yes
I would advise them to go for it. Ignorance comes from a lack of knowledge and even if they weren't looking to work in the field simply learning about the opportunities out there opens up the world more to you.
