The Role
I enjoyed the role I was given (not a consultant) and it was challenging. It was good getting experience working to deadlines, speaking to candidates/clients and managing a heavy workload. There were times where it became a bit stale however, and there wasn't much variety to the tasks I was doing. I feel as an intern I could have been invited to more learning experiences such as client meetings and candidate registrations, sent on more training and learning courses and helped to grow more as an intern should.
I felt very valued as I knew my role was very helpful to the team. However, as a non fee-earner, I often felt my role wasn't as valued by the company as a whole compared to everybody else and I was more expendable.
My manager was extremely supportive and keen to help me learn and do the best I could in my role.
There were days where I didn't have time to breathe, but also the occasional day where my tasks would slow right down. Busy more often than not though.
I was given a lot of responsibility over my own work management and tasks, but in terms of anything beyond that, there wasn't much scope for it.
I have learnt a lot of administrative skills and developed my professionalism, ability to conduct myself and general insight in to the business world. I'm sure it is a great stepping stone to the future of my career.
The Company
Within the first few months it was great. But towards the end of the year a lot of people did begin to leave, the rewards and incentives slowed down and people were pushed to work very hard. It didn't affect me personally but in terms of office atmosphere it was very obvious.
It was organised well.
I was sent on two training courses during my internship. I feel there should have been more training devoted to people who aren't consultants.

I was offered to stay on after my internship ended which was good. The pay and perks were OK... Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much in the way of career progression for people who aren't consultants however.
The Culture
There weren't any other placement 西瓜视频s but in terms of normal colleagues, the social aspects were excellent. Everyone was friendly, easy to get along with.
The area is extremely expensive!
Decent enough.
People went out most Friday evenings to celebrate the end of the week with a drink.
