Overview
- Support across the commercial portfolio - all brands - Coordinated projects, developed content, engaged with external stakeholders, a lot of digital platform management (pfizerpro and disease awareness websites) - Lead on team training - Developed brand materials that were used to train the new members of our team not only in pfizer brands but recently for a competitor brand - Make key marketing assets 鈼� Portfolio RTE 鈼� Pull up banner 鈼� Website design and creation - Market research and volunteering project management Collaborative working project
Skills
I have developed my skills in public speaking and have generally become a lot more confidence over the course of my placement. I have developed my projected management skills. I have gain a much deeper understanding into how a business runs, how to manage DME, how to conduct operations planning for the year etc. I have learnt how to work cross functionally. I have learnt a lot of new software skills such as website design and creation across multiple software platforms.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility and treated as a member of the team rather than an 'intern'. During the later stages of my placement I was given the opportunity to lead on various projects therefore I was responsible for the success of them.
Support & Guidance
I was given a lot of support and guidance. The onboarding process was very simple and I had regular catch ups with my manager and other members of the team which were an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarity.
Culture
The company culture and atmosphere was amazing. There was always something organised to keep spirits high and motive the teams. This was something I really enjoyed about working at Pfizer.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement experience. This came down to the great people I had in my team and the openness in which I was welcomed in.
Yes
It is an organisation where you can feel part of the team and culture. It is also a place where you feel like what you are doing is making a difference which is a very rewarding feeling.
