Overview
Completing tasks for the team, like updating board minutes, completing AR and IPE testing, emailing clients asking for samples, signing off risk assessments, joining daily meetings with the team, getting to know the business, some personal development training
Skills
Developed excel skills, learnt a lot more about audit more generally but also learnt some of the specifics about how Deloitte operates. Built confidence when speaking to clients and really enhanced my networking skills
Business Insight
There were lots of chances to speak to people in different teams to get an idea about the different roles. Managers and other team members were always really happy to talk about exams and job progression and stuff
Culture
The office was very quiet and a bit awkward at the start but it definitely got louder throughout the week. The team are all really nice and regularly meet after work which you could tell they got along well
Your Impressions
It was really good, it was nice to get a proper feel for the job by actually being assigned tasks rather than just having to watch, and I definitely have a much better idea of what the job is like after the scheme

Just get stuck in, use it to learn as much as possible about the company
