Overview
An overview of my role on a day to day basis would vary around training, catch up or project calls with different people as well as audit work on excel files.
Skills
I have gained valuable insight to my chosen service line - Audit by internal tools that showed me how audit processes work as well as some soft skills such as becoming better at following structure within projects.
Responsibilities
I was given responsibilities for projects however received as much support as i needed and always had someone to ask if i was unsure.
Support & Guidance
I always knew who to ask anytime i was unsure, we were also allocated buddies which helped us get settled in quickly as well as frequent catchups and QandAs for any questions we had.
Culture
There was a very relaxed atmosphere, felt like we could ask questions about anything and the company culture reflected this.
Your Impressions
The placement was a great experience, we got the chance to travel and visit offices all over the UK, the only thing i'd say is the 4 week placement was slightly too short.
Yes
My advice would be to do your research and try to understand the different service lines and what one would best suit you before you apply.
