Overview
I joined in on client calls and meetings, took notes, was assigned to multiple different clients where i completed various tasks of differing complexity and lengths. I got involved with payroll and gender pay gap reporting, alongside my main duties in the mobility tax team - assisting individuals and companies who work in multiple jurisdictions
Skills
I have completed multiple presentations, boosting my presentation skills, communication skills, and collaborative skills. I have also been put in charge of various things building my leadership skills and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
I was given responsibilities within the first week. It was enough responsibility to make me feel valued but not to the extent where i was worried about not being able to perform well.
Support & Guidance
I had a counsellor and a buddy who helped me throughout the internship, alongside various colleagues who would do weekly check ins and come and assist throughout the day to ensure i was comfortable in my work and to provide support if/where needed.
Culture
Very friendly atmosphere, felt valued and comfortable in the environment. Everybody was willing to help and take time out of their day to support me. Very nurturing environment
