Overview
I assisted in the audit of a range of public sector clients in the Newcastle office. I spent my time analysing statements of accounts.
Skills
I further developed my understanding and familiarity with financial statements.
Responsibilities
I was given the responsibility of being one of the first people on the audit to analyse the draft financial statements and pick out anything that was incorrect.
Support & Guidance
The induction week was an incredibly well-structured introduction to the firm where I learnt a whole lot. I felt incredibly well supported with the work I was doing and felt comfortable asking for help when needed.
Culture
The company culture genuinely felt human-centric and that they really focused on the people.
