Skills
I have learnt many things surrounding audit. Including how to audit Claims Paid, UPR & DAC and Creditors. I have also learnt how to work in a professional environment and in a large team. The most notable thing that I have learnt would be improving my communication skills both within my team and to the client
Responsibilities
I have been given a large amount of responsibility during my placement, including being assigned whole Financial Statement Line Items, setting and leading client calls and producing my own Work Papers for the Audit File
Support & Guidance
I have been given a large amount of support. I have not once felt like there was not a single person that I could speak to. This has ranged from support on client work, and support on my personal development from the Early Careers Team, HR and my People Manager
Culture
The company has a great environment. There are many social events within my team, including dinners, drinks and golf days. Going into the office is encouraged simply through the friendliness of not only my peers but also seniors
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement and am actively seeking a return offer to go back
