  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Pfizer’s Commercial Portfolio Business Unit encompasses a wide range of activities, including an extensive Established Brands portfolio of critical medicines. The depth and breadth of this portfolio enables us to deliver value to patients throughout the UK. What can I achieve and what will I be responsible for whilst completing a placement at Pfizer? Working within Pfizer’s Commercial Portflio Business Unit will provide you with a unique opportunity to work across a number of areas within the lifecycle of our products, from product forecasting through to delivery to Dispensing points. From the exposure to both the Marketing and Supply side of our business, will help provide a broader understanding of how the business works. You can look forward to developing critical business skills and being a valued team player. These skills will include: • Internal and external stakeholder management • Multi-tasking through working on a variety of projects • Developing Commercial and business acumen • Opportunity for leadership by owning specific projects The commercial team offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehension and learning in the world of hospital products. We have hugely diverse portfolio and a wide-ranging customer base. Our team offers the chance to get involved in all areas of the marketing mix but with a heavy weighting to commercial thinking and Customer Value Proposition development and implementation. Pfizer also offers a diverse environment which allows employees numerous opportunities to grow and develop. This is a great chance to be part of the bigger picture, and to assist in ensuring Pfizer maintains a strong and diverse workforce as well as developing a talent pipeline of future Pfizer colleagues. It is also a fantastic way to obtain a better understanding of the pharma industry and the type of roles it has to offer. . Other responsibilities will include: - Involvement in team-based projects with the commercial Marketing & Hospital Commercial managers - Assisting the marketing team - Assisting with material development and approval - Project Implementation

  • Endless! Thorough training at the beginning over the first few months and consistent buddy check ins, 1-1s with manager and various other team members and continuous support whenever needed. Everyone is so keen to help!

  • A great extent! I gelled with the team so well and really felt connected to my work. Î÷¹ÏÊÓÆµing it so hard to leave and will definitely try to come back for the grad scheme!

  • Be your authentic self! Everyone is super genuine and likes to see personality. Do your research on the specific function / role you are applying for and have a basic understanding of what you're getting yourself into
