Overview
A typical day involves getting all cars ready for the day. Following on from that mornings are usually our busiest time giving cars to customers off flights. Also some of our job may involve brining cars tyo garages that need repairs.Through out the day we also review cars that were brought back.
Skills
I have developed a wide range of skills such as communication, problem-solving and time management. I have done this through communicating with both fellow employees and customers. My problem solving skills have been developed through learning how to cope i different situations that may arise such as not having the correct car size for a customer. Ive also developed my time management skills as ive had to learn to delegate my tasks throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Throughout my placement I was given different tasks that involved responsibility such as driving new cars. This helped me gain confidence and build practical experience
Support & Guidance
I was given lots of guidance during my placement from people more experienced than me. This gave me invaluable insights support and mentorship.
Culture
The company atmosphere was great. The atmosphere made my experience more enjoyable and productive.
