The Role
Exciting environment to work in and was never left bored.
Recieved recognition when helping out consultants with admin
My supervisors were extremely friendly and gave me help whenever I needed.
There was always lots of adim and compliance work to be done, reception was always busy and when things got quiet on the travel desk, my supervisors allowed me to help the compliance team.
Was given a fair amount of responsibility for an 18 year old and it was nice to be trusted with such responsibility.
Developed a lot of my soft skills, needed for my future career as well as gaining an insight into how businesses work and develop, which will help me in my degree studies.
The Company
Everyone was always excited about being at work and consultants seemed to get on very well, particularly within their specialisms.
My placement was very well organised. I was given a timetable of my rotation before my placement started and my supervisors would always introduce me to my next area and make sure I knew what I was doing and who with.
Would have never seen myself working in a recruitment firm in the future but I've learnt to enjoy the work that Hays does.
The Culture
I spent the majority of my team with the HOS/HAF compliance team who were extremely friendly and got to know them well.
