Overview
Checking stock levels, managing loan stock, communicating with sales team regarding inbound stock, helping with PR activities, raising orders and tasks.
Skills
Excel, SAP, communication, data analysis, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, working in a team.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given responsibility by my manager, with myself having to be proactive most of the time. Given tasks and projects to work on indepedantly.
Support & Guidance
I received some guidance and support but would have appreciated more support from my manager. At points I felt quite unsupported. Going forward I think having set 1:1's maybe weekly/every couple of weeks would have been beneficial as a way to have felt more supported.
Culture
The company atmosphere was friendly and people were approachable, if I ever had issues I felt as though there was always someone to go to that would be able to help me. There was a hard working atmosphere too which was a good environment to be in.
Your Impressions
I did enjoy my placement and I appreciate the skills and experience that it gave me however I think I could have been given more opportunities throughout this year.
Yes
It is a very welcoming company and the people that work there are very nice and helpful hwoever you have to be proactive and ask to help/ask for tasks throughout the year.
