Overview
As the assistant to the beauty product marketing team, I support various departments that influence our work. My responsibilities include sending stock, raising requests, and assisting with both in-store and online brand presence. I also collaborate with teams such as sales, brand communications, social media, and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient operation
Skills
Yes, during my placement I developed several valuable skills. I received training across the Microsoft Office suite, which enhanced my proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. I also gained hands-on experience with SAP, a widely used software, which improved my understanding of business operations and data management. Additionally, I strengthened my presentation and communication skills, both of which are essential as I prepare to graduate and enter the professional world
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given a significant amount of responsibility during my placement. I had fixed weekly tasks such as preparing reports, as well as ad-hoc assignments that required flexibility and quick thinking. At Panasonic, all placement 西瓜视频s are also encouraged to set ambitious and creative objectives with their managers. These goals are designed to be challenging and push us beyond our comfort zones, which definitely gave me the opportunity to take initiative and demonstrate responsibility throughout my placement.
Support & Guidance
I received a great deal of support and guidance during my placement. The placement cohort was incredibly friendly and collaborative, we often worked together and supported one another. My manager was especially helpful and took on a mentoring role, always available when I needed guidance. The wider team was also very approachable and supportive, creating a positive and encouraging environment throughout my time there.
Culture
The atmosphere at Panasonic was very lively and welcoming. Everyone was friendly and approachable, which made it easy to communicate and ask for help鈥攅ven from people in different departments. The office environment was vibrant, with great social spaces where the 西瓜视频 cohort could relax and connect. Overall, the company culture was supportive and collaborative, making it a great place to learn and grow.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement experience. I was given opportunities to take part in projects and tasks that I initially thought would be beyond the typical scope for a 西瓜视频, which made the experience even more rewarding. I鈥檓 especially grateful for the team I worked with their support, and willingness to involve me in meaningful work made a huge difference. I truly believe I wouldn鈥檛 have enjoyed the placement as much without them
Yes
My advice to anyone applying to Panasonic is to be proactive and open to learning. The staff are incredibly friendly and supportive, so don鈥檛 hesitate to reach out and ask for work or to try new tasks. Taking initiative really helps you make the most of the experience and shows your enthusiasm to grow. It鈥檚 a great environment to develop both professionally and personally.
