Overview
I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement here at GSK. The staff and management are all friendly and amazing to work with. My pay has been more than fair and I have received an additional yearly bonus too. Extra opportunities have been given for personal and professional development and I have been given 'open doors' to try new things whilst here.
Skills
I have learnt skills with new software and code, whilst also further developing myself personally too.
Responsibilities
I was given a good mix of more responsibility for some tasks/activities and less for others - but there has always been opportunity to take on more.
Support & Guidance
A lot. Everyone around you is so supportive and understanding that you are extremely early in your career here and you aren't expected to know as much as those with years of experience. People are happy to show you how things work and point you in the right direction too. I also always felt like there were people I could talk to if I needed anything.
Culture
Everyone is focused but fun. There were good days and bad days for people which I actually thing is great to see as it shows people are comfortable to react and express themselves normally.
Your Impressions
Placement has been really fun and I have actually enjoyed a lot of the work and other opportunities.
Yes
