Overview
The role requires me to be present on site everyday and it involves being part of daily management meetings, being available to support the shopfloor on any problems and resolve the problems. I am responsible for the SQDC for the product and the safety of the people building/testing it.
Skills
I've improved my problem solving skills from a beginner level to a more advanced level where I tend to solve it in a more structured manner using the problem solving tools. I've also leveled up a lot on FLIGHT DECK principles (lean manufacturing) which equipped me with better process improvement capabilities.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was responsible for the manufacturing of a product. later was responsible for improving productivity on processes across site on multiple products. I was also responsible and the key focal most CAD related projects.
Support & Guidance
I was given a lot of encouragement and support throughout the internship and on every major milestone I hit.
Culture
It is a very nice place to work at and is very respectful workplace
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the work I did cause I really like doing what I do which is anything related to mechanical engineering. but was not enjoyable when I was not able to role out into a permanent role at the company because of my nationality.
