As part of the General Ledger team, I supported key financial processes including month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and internal controls. The placement provides hands-on exposure to corporate accounting systems and standards such as SOX compliance. I worked closely with finance professionals, gaining insights into the financial operations of a multinational company, while developing both technical accounting knowledge and professional workplace skills such as communication, time management, and attention to detail.
