  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • High pressure, competitive, challenging, steep learning curve - so rewarding. I would love to work here!

  • Everyone made an effort to make time to answer questions and treated with respect.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The entire team made an effort to make time for us, give us teach ins, and hours spent answering our questions - "no question is a stupid question"

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very busy in the mornings but it tailed off in the afternoon. Still had time to talk to people around the floor and spend time shadowing members of the team.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Due to compliance and rules, there was only a certain amount that we could do, but we compiled the emails in the morning and encouraged to formulate our own ideas.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Unbelievably useful, learnt an enormous amount. My understanding of the financial world has increased 100 fold.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement Î÷¹ÏÊÓÆµs/colleagues?
  • Made some amazing friends over the last 10 weeks, hopefully some for life.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Lived at home, but great pubs and bars in Canary Wharf that we went to regularly.

  • Don't know.

  • A few such as the corporate run.
