The Role
Gave me a real flavour of what the job will be like and I experienced things that I could touch on in my final interview
Trainees were especially welcoming and joined us for all of our entertainment activities
No question was left unanswered and the 2 weeks was very well organised
We had a project to complete over the two weeks so when work from our supervisor dried up, we always had something to do
Not a lot but as a 2 week intern I definitely didn't expect (or want!) much
As it was only a short internship, it was more about the experience itself for me, than for developing transferrable skills. However, the insight it gave me into what the job will be like was definitely invaluable
The Company
Hardworking in the office but everyone from trainees to partners willing to introduce themselves to you and have a chat to you and make you feel welcome
No complaints at all, worked like clockwork!
As it was only a two week scheme, it felt more like a recruitment tool rather than a training scheme, but that's definitely what I was expecting
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing!
The Culture
We all got on well and am in frequent touch with a handful
Central London was expensive, but that's to be expected, and we were treated to food and drinks on the scheme!
Central London-where can you get more choice?!
Not really, but when you're only there for two weeks, it's not like you can expect to become part of the firm
