About You
I enjoyed the experience a lot; all the interns and staff were of great character and calibre.
I felt very valued. The thought that everyone would be offered an internship if they were good enough was very encouraging.
I never felt afraid to ask a question because the staff were very open, honest and helpful. The friendliness between peers put me at ease and helped me open up and immerse myself into the experience.
Even though it was only four days, there was so much packed into the experience that gave me a huge insight not only in JP Morgan but in investment banking in general. I understand both myself and the world of investment banking better after this experience and picked up new skills and experiences along the way.
The Company
The insight was very well structured with an excellent balance of presentation, Q&A sessions, social activities and group exercises. All of which were a very high standard and very well organised. Frequent breaks tied up each section of the day nicely.
The atmosphere was extremely welcoming and friendly. I never felt uncomfortable and the workplace had a positive energy about it with a fresh, modern take on things that made me feel human.
I think the company invested a lot of time and resources into us. From the variety of presentations, exercises and group activities, I knew how much effort had been put in to ensure that we had a valuable, insightful and enlightening experience.
Although it was four days, I don't think I could have got a better insight into life at the company. It was very helpful.
We had a presentation on the company itself and a brief tour of the building which helped me very much to get a taste of the company values and its branding.
It cleared up many questions I had on a career in investment banking helped me understand how I could fit in it better.
Everything Else
Yes.
We had many oppurtinities for us to mingle with staff and our fellow interns to help create networks and relationships and value to importance of networking.
Considering the short duration of our stay, I feel that there were countless occasions made available for us to network and socialise; there were all lovely and very fun.
We had an entire presentation and even an evening out with some of the employees to help socialise and get a taste of the social life and activities of life at the company.
Yes, definatley.
