  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I loved it!

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I really felt as part of the team. Everyone around me was always helpful.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager and team always helped me as often as they could. If that meant they would have to stay in an extra hour, they were willing to do that.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Every day was different, but what I can say is that there was no day where I felt stressed and no day where I got bored.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was fully responsible for a piece of a project.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learned many technical skills during the internship. However, I also learned how to guide a project to completion in a real environment. I have also learned a lot about finance and interpersonal skills.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It depended on each floor but on my floor it was quite relaxed and friendly. Everyone was really nice and helpful.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Everything was well planned and we were always notified about upcoming events with at least a few days before they took place. There were minor hiccups related to the conference room being new but overall everything was well organised.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • There was always the opportunity to learn anything via the company's internal "university". Aside from this, we had to take many trainings related to the law governing the company.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised/Company Gym

    Company Parties/Events

  • Extremely appealing!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵs/colleagues?
  • Everyone got along real well. About half of the interns were Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵs at my university so we knew each other but we also managed to become friends with everyone else as well.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I would say it was quite decent. Prices in Glasgow are generally really good.

    5/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Glasgow is a very vibrant city. There were plenty of opportunities to have a great night all around the week.

    5/5

  • There was a day where all the interns participated in volunteering outside of the office.
